Job Description:
As a Field Technician at Wise.Repair, you will be responsible for performing on-site repairs and maintenance of a variety of residential and commercial appliances. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on household and commercial appliances, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose issues and provide clear, accurate estimates for repair costs and timelines.
- Communicate directly with customers, explaining repair processes and ensuring understanding.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Complete service calls and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, documenting services performed and parts used.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and appliance models to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies while working in customers’ homes or businesses.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns or questions promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in appliance repair or a related technical field (preferred).
- Strong mechanical skills and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of appliances.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy appliances and equipment as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training a plus.
